There is no particular rhyme or reason for the dawn of this personal new era, or perhaps there is and I’m not ready to apply anything too “analytical” while taking my first steps into such an interesting age.

It all started when I was locked in random thought during my favourite bridge of time (a wonderful time between 12 – 2am) in the company of my familiar acquaintance Jack Daniels, beautifully accompanied by the soulful sounds of early 90’s Mariah Carey.

I read the tips and suggestions the Google search engine was kind enough to offer me on “blogging for the first time” which ultimately lead me right here, with you, attempting to create a “world according to me” type thing…in the hope that I have something to offer.

I am the first to admit that it has taken some time to ease into the concept of an “online community” but anything that allows humans to express thought, opinions and ideas can never be a bad thing…right?

It has been suggested that I find my own “unique voice” although I think it’s difficult to find something that you inherently possess? As surely having life experiences that no one else can fully perceive or duplicate will give you a unique voice? Or if I am wrong then perhaps using this blog will allow me find my voice and develop its sound.

I am not a “writer” in any classical, romanticised sense of the definition; No articles published in high school, no poems, no previously published literary works of genius…hell…on some days it may even be a struggle to produce a continuous flow of thought within this blog…

But I’m ready to try
